Practical answers
Questions about this service
When is a private company's annual return due?
ACRA's ordinary example for a private company is seven months after FYE. Different rules or circumstances may apply, so the company's exact position must be checked.
When is an AGM due?
ACRA states that companies generally hold AGMs within four to six months after FYE. Private-company examples use six months, subject to applicable exemptions and requirements.
Is annual return filing the same as tax filing?
No. ACRA annual returns and IRAS corporate income tax filings are separate obligations with different information and deadlines.
